Larissa Goldberg

is a family lawyer, an accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDR Practitioner) registered with the Commonwealth Attorney-General’s Department, and a Nationally Accredited Mediator under the National Mediator Accreditation Scheme. 

In addition, Larissa has been a legal practitioner for over 25 years, including 12 years at a first-tier specialist family law firm in Melbourne.  She has attained the following tertiary qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Arts

  • Bachelor of Laws

  • Master of Laws

  • Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution

As a family lawyer, Larissa has acted for high net worth individuals and had the conduct of:

  • Difficult parenting matters including matters involving relocation, The Hague Convention, parental alienation            and children with special needs

  • Complex property matters involving large asset pools

  • Serious family violence proceedings including acting for victims and perpetrators

She has extensive experience drafting and advising on court orders, parenting plans, financial agreements and child support agreements. 

Larissa's legal experience enables her, as an FDR Practitioner and mediator, to guide clients on streamlining the legal process, obtaining appropriate legal and other specialist advice, and finalising agreements.   

She also uses her legal and FDR experience as:

 

  • ​an adjunct lecturer at the College of Law for the Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice program

  • a certified coach for the new Australian version of the online 'New Ways for Families – Parenting without Conflict' parenting after separation program created by Bill Eddy of the High Conflict Institute
